Catholic Charities Interfaith Health & Wellness to celebrate Award Winners

West Palm Beach, FL – May 8, 2024

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Catholic Charities Interfaith Health & Wellness of the Diocese of Palm Beach, will hold its 18th annual Awards Luncheon and present the Faith Community Nurse of the Year, Mother Teresa, and Pope Francis Leadership Awards at the National Croquet Center, 700 Florida Mango Road, West Palm Beach. Faith Community Nurses are Registered Nurses who serve as health advocates and educators, and promote whole-person wellness of body, mind and spirit. In our community, the nurses help fill a gap in our healthcare system, by outreaching to the homebound, elderly, homeless, and those most in need.

Chairwomen are Mary Ierardi and Margaret Donnelley, mental health advocates and philanthropists.

Elizabeth Ailes will receive the Mother Teresa Award for her years of service advocating for children. Wendy Harper - St. Helen Church will be given the Faith Community Nurse of the Year Award. Patrick McNamara, President & CEO, Palm Health Foundation will receive the Pope Francis Leadership Award. Award winners were chosen for their lifelong dedication and service in helping those in need in the community.
