Indian River County Children's Services Advisory Committee Awards $38,850 to Support the Samaritan Center

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach and the Samaritan Center, wish to express our gratitude to the Indian River County Children's Services Advisory Committee for their generous $38,850 grant awarded in September 2024. Their support of our children's services program at the Samaritan Center in Vero Beach will have a profound impact on the lives of the homeless families we serve, especially the children.

As a transitional housing facility for homeless families, the Samaritan Center provides not only shelter but also critical resources aimed at promoting family stability and self-sufficiency. The children's services program is an essential part of this mission, addressing the unique needs of children who are affected by homelessness. Through educational support, counseling, and recreational activities, we aim to create a nurturing environment that fosters emotional well-being and academic success.

Our partnership with the Children's Services Advisory Committee helps us to provide these children with the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.
