Catholic Charities Participates in "Building Hope" Affordable Housing Initiative

On Friday, April 4, 2025, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach was honored to participate in Building Hope: Utilizing Faith-Based Land to Build Affordable Housing, a pivotal event hosted by Faith in Action PBC at the Boynton Beach Police Department.

This event was part of the 2025 Affordable Housing Development Cohort Initiative and brought together faith-based organizations, community partners, and local agencies, all united by a shared goal: to explore and expand innovative solutions to the growing need for affordable housing in Palm Beach County.

Building Hope offered a dynamic platform for attendees to connect directly with service providers, access vital housing resources, and engage in meaningful dialogue about leveraging faith-based land and community partnerships to promote stability and dignity for all residents. The event emphasized collaboration as a powerful tool in addressing housing challenges and showcased the proactive steps being taken across the county to support vulnerable populations.

Catholic Charities Hunger Homeless Outreach Program staff were proud to be among the participants, reaffirming our commitment to serve those in need, advocate for equitable housing opportunities, and prevent homelessness. Our involvement in this initiative reflects our broader mission to bring hope and healing through faith, respect, service, compassion, and community engagement.

We extend our sincere thanks to Faith in Action PBC for organizing this impactful gathering and to all who participated, supported, and shared in the vision of a stronger, more compassionate Palm Beach County. Together, we are building more than homes—we are building hope.
