Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Inc. is grateful to The Gratis Foundation (administered through Wells Fargo) for awarding a $5,000 grant in August 2025 in support of our Homelessness Prevention Program.
This generous funding will allow us to provide critical rental, mortgage, and utility assistance to vulnerable families in our community who are at risk of eviction, foreclosure, or utility shut-off. At a time when many households are facing economic uncertainty and rising housing costs, these services are often the difference between stability and homelessness.
With the support of The Gratis Foundation, Catholic Charities can continue to live out its mission of serving those in need with compassion and dignity. Together, we are helping families remain safely housed, maintain essential services, and find hope in the midst of hardship.
The mission of the Gratis Foundation, established in 2008, is to support programs in the fields of education, health care and medical research, humanitarian services, abused and neglected children, and assisting U.S. Military personnel and their families. It is the intent of the foundation to award grants based on achievement, excellence, significance, or leadership in a specific field or charitable endeavor.
