Catholic Charities Grateful for Support from The Walter and Adi Blum Foundation

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is honored to extend our deepest gratitude to The Walter and Adi Blum Foundation for their generous $10,000 grant award in August 2025 in support of our Immigration Legal Services Program.

This vital program exists to keep families together, reunite those separated due to immigration challenges, and educate the immigrant community about their rights under current U.S. immigration laws. Every day, our dedicated staff works alongside vulnerable families, helping them navigate complex legal systems, reduce fear and uncertainty, and build stronger futures in our community.

The Walter and Adi Blum Foundation was established by the late Mrs. Adi Blum, a woman remembered for her compassion, generosity, and commitment to helping others. Mrs. Blum believed deeply that a portion of the wealth she and her husband, Walter, had built should be reinvested to strengthen charitable organizations like Catholic Charities. Today, her legacy lives on through the ongoing work of the Foundation’s directors, Sandra Gambill, Marjorie Murphy, and Shaun Murphy, who continue to uphold her vision of giving and compassion.

Through this gift, the foundation has not only honored Mrs. Blum’s legacy but has also strengthened Catholic Charities’ ability to serve vulnerable families in need—families whose lives are transformed by the security, stability, and hope that come from lawful pathways and restored unity.

On behalf of all those we serve, thank you to The Walter and Adi Blum Foundation for partnering with Catholic Charities to protect families, uphold human dignity, and share the gift of hope with the immigrant community.
