Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is deeply grateful to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church for their generous $17,000 donation to our Birthline Lifeline Program.
On Sunday February 22, Margarita Duncan, Birthline Lifeline Program Education Coordinator, had the honor of accepting the check on behalf of Catholic Charities. Birthline Lifeline was selected as one of the beneficiaries of proceeds from St. Mark’s annual Greek Festival, held January 29–February 1, 2026.
This incredible gift reflects the spirit of compassion and unity that defines our community. The annual Greek Festival is a joyful celebration of faith, culture, and fellowship — and through their generosity, that celebration will now help sustain and uplift mothers, babies, and families in need throughout our region.
Supporting Life, Strengthening Families
The Birthline Lifeline Program provides critical support to pregnant women and families facing difficult circumstances. Through education, material assistance, free pregnancy tests/ultrasounds, referrals, and compassionate accompaniment, the program ensures that parents have the resources they need to welcome and care for their children with dignity and hope.
The $17,000 donation will directly support:
Essential baby supplies and maternity items
Parenting education and client support services
Outreach and community education initiatives
Ongoing program operations that serve vulnerable families
