Catholic Charities Receives $25,000 Grant from The Raskob Foundation to Support Samaritan Center in Indian River County

Palm Beach, FL — May 2024 — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous $25,000 grant award to support the Samaritan Center, a vital transitional housing program dedicated to assisting homeless families in Indian River County. This grant, provided by The Raskob Foundation will significantly enhance the Center’s capacity to offer comprehensive services to families on their journey towards stability and self-sufficiency.

The Samaritan Center has been a cornerstone of hope and support in Indian River County, offering a safe and nurturing environment for homeless families. The Center provides more than just shelter; it offers an array of supportive services, including case management, mental health services,  life skills training, and access to community resources.
