On Wednesday, July 6, Catholic Charities Counseling Program participated in the 4th annual "Unity in Our Community" event at the Fort Pierce Community Center. The event was organized by the Fort Pierce Police Department. Unity in Our Community included a multi-agency resource fair, entertainment, free food, a demonstration by the K-9 Unit, and a bounce house. The event was held at the Fort Pierce Recreation Center. “It shows that the police department does so much more than just enforce law, we give back and this is a part of us giving back to community," says Chief Diane Hobley Burney, Fort Pierce Police.
