Held on May 30, 2025, the 12th Annual Bernard & Betty A. Egan Golf Classic at the Indian River club was a huge success. Proceeds from the event benefited the Samaritan Center in Vero Beach. The Bernard & Betty A. Egan Foundation provided a matching contribution for all sponsorships received for this event.
We are very thankful to all of our sponsors! Especially, our ACE Sponsor, the Egan Foundation, who generously matched all sponsorships dollar to dollar. 28 teams totaling 110 golfers enjoyed a gorgeous day of golfing, lunch and an Awards Ceremony. Special thanks to our door and grand prize donors, golf course certificate donors and over 32+ fabulous, dedicated volunteers.

Bernard Egan and his wife Betty were two of the founding members of the Samaritan Center who realized the need to help homeless families in Indian River County. The Samaritan Center is a comprehensive, multi-level, homeless program for families in Indian River County. To date the Samaritan Center has provided shelter for over 1,600 residents including over 900 children. The Samaritan Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and private donations, grants and fundraising efforts account for more than 75% of the funding of Samaritan Center.
