Florida Blue Foundation Awards $10,000 Grant Award for Disaster Services

Riviera Beach, FL November 2024

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is pleased to announce the receipt of an $10,000 grant in November 2024 from the Florida Blue Foundation. This generous funding will bolster disaster relief and case management services for victims affected by the tornadoes associated with Hurricane Milton, providing essential support to those in need.

The recent tornadoes caused significant damage across our 5-county service area, displacing families and leaving many struggling to recover. In response, Catholic Charities has been actively engaged in disaster relief efforts, offering crucial services such as case management, basic needs and food assistance, emergency housing, and resources for rebuilding lives.

Catholic Charities is committed to ensuring that all victims of the recent tornadoes receive the support they need to recover. With the aid of the Florida Blue Foundation's grant, Catholic Charities will expand its outreach and services, ensuring that no one in the community is left behind during this challenging time.
